Brief Description: 12 folios of lithographs (1 in color) depicting signature pices of artwork (1 is a set of poems) with tango as the theme from twelve Argentine avant-garde artists.  Each folio is contained within a fold-out with a short biography of the artist in four languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French, and English), a black and white photograph of the artist, and the artist's signature.  All twelve fold-outs are enclosed in a black leather binder. The artists featured are the following:  Alonso, Carlos, 1929-present; Castagnino, Juan Carlos, 1908-1972; Soldi, E. Raúl, 1905-1994; Berni, Antonio, 1905-1981; Vanzo, Julio, 1901-1984; Torrallardona, Carlos, 1913-1986; Policastro, Enrique, 1898-1971; Centurión, Emilio, 1894-1970; Butler, Horacio, 1897-present; Battle Planas, Juan, 1911-1966; Basaldúa, Héctor, 1894- 1976; and Portogalo, José, 1904-present.
